Beasts

Twin Skies has a vast array of monsters and beasts; learn how to train and tame them with the Field Guide!
Belcher
Bleachers have a horrible habit of burping; not only does it smell they release fire balls when belching. They are not a social creature, and tend to keep to themselves. You want to steer clear of them; they have a very big apatite and they may chomp you net!

Belchers will only attack when provoked and do not actively hunt the elves of the canopy. They will, however, defend their young with vigour. Their main form of attack is their distinctive flame belch, however a few varieties of Belcher have been known to belch poison clouds or freezing vapour.

Buffalump
Buffalumps have a unpleasant smell; but they would make a wonderful companion for anyone. They are found in the farms aiding in any was needed.

But there isn't a stronger pack animal in the Wandering Plains and the amount of goods they can carry on trading trips is remarkable enough to make up for their lack of urgency. Or if farming is more your speed, a single Buffalump can plough an entire field without needing to rest.

Eleplant
The Eleplant are magical plant creatures. Summoned only by the Floramancers from the Elevere forest. They are a very helpful companion; however this means that you will have problems with a surprise attack of your own.

An Eleplant is always accompanied by a Pipsqueek, their tiny, timid leaf-mouse companion. It is the Pipsqueek, not the Floramancer who provides the Eleplant's orders, being the figurative brains of the duo. The two will frequently converse in a strange plant language and even get into disagreements at inopportune moments on the best way to proceed.

Flower Hound

Gnarl
A Gnarl is a cross between Man and Wolf. and possess many canine-like qualities such as growling, biting, and hunting. They tend not to be distracted by sticks either, so you can forget about that idea.

Although generally quite vicious, their temperament varies from tribe to tribe. Some are largely insular and choose to live in relative peace in their ancestral mountain homes. Others enjoy the prospect of endless war with whoever gets in their way.

Gnunicorn
Gnuicorns are amazing creatures mostly found in the Shoal and the Wandering Plains. They have the ability to learn & speak any language. However kind/mean they may be Gnuicorns are lazy and uncooperative beasts!

Gorseling

Grak
Graks inbait the tress of the Elevere forest! It is said at one time they lived on the floor of the Elevere Forest--however some say the forest floor is a myth too!

One way or another, graks serve as slow-moving beasts of burden for canopy elves, working their farms and pulling their carts along the great branch trade routes that run throughout Elevere.

Grub
The Canopy Elves' depends on the Grub as a source of clothing and food. Grubs are hunted for the leather skin and meat--some even make wonderful pets and 'watchdogs'!

Grubs in the wild are usually a lot more aggressive, making no distinction between a tasty leaf and a tasty elf. Worst still, wild grubs have been lately feeding off the magical sap deposits found in the Elevere Forest. These mutant grubs have exhibited scary powers such as storing up electrical charges, or even fiery breath!

The Impit
Impit appeared in the land around the same time of the meteors. They are tricksters--however their jokes consist of setting things afire!

Impits have a distinctive laugh that gives them away. Oh, you won't forget that laugh in a long while. Their appearance is that of little devils, and they certainly have a personality to match.

They have limited magical abilities that will frustrate and irritate adventurers, but if they keep a clear head about them, the impit will be an irritation at worst.

Salabounder
Salabounders are very strong creatures--'villains' may train Salabounders to be evil monster machines!

Salabounders are like big, dumb friendly dogs. They'll leap up and down with excitement when a friend comes calling. Potential Salabounder owners would be wise to invest in thick, high quality floorboards to avoid having their new Salabounder crash through to the basement during one of these jumping episodes.

Scarecrow
Plagued by a nefarious curse; the Scarecrow now stalks the land he once protected! They used to scare away crows, but now they scare every livestock and the humans too!

The creepiest sight of all though was the Scarecrows coming to life. The hollow cackling that emanated from their once-inanimate pumpkin heads, and the jangling of their chain legs was enough to send even the hardiest of farmers running for the hills.

Scragglepaw
COMING SOON!
Snapping Daisy
Snapping Daisys were created to be the plant--that bit back! They are usually tamed--however if you find yourself running into a patch of them you should have no problem defending yourself!

Floramancers have learned to plant, cultivate, and grow them into faithful (and malicious) pets. Some snapping daisies, however, escape into the wild, losing contact with their former floramancer masters. These daisies can be territorial and very ferocious, and are best avoided.
