2002-2007:
Owen and Devyn have been servicing the fandom community since early 2002. We started with our first project Dark Devils, a Neopets fansite that quickly gained a following. Owen naturally being the owner managed the 'behind the scene' aspects of the website. Devyn was hired to the website in October 2002—and quickly climbed his way through the ranks to Co-Owner.
Neopets grew, and then grew more—and then it seemed that things were totally out of control. You could not turn around without seeing a Neopets Advert. This was good and horrible for the Neopets fandom, all of the media 
attention meant more players, and more visitors. In 2005 we witnessed what we call “the fall of neopets”, around the same time we had a major server issue which caused us to loose all content.
The powerhouse Viacom purchased the company for One hundred and sixty million dollars, with an investment that large things change. It is the goal of the company to make back the money they spent on the company and more. Late 2007 Owen and Devyn stopped all production of the fansite Dark Devils.
2008:
On September 3rd 2008--around 3:00 AM EST, Devyn declared to Owen that he would be interested in following Adam and Donna in their new project. Work on The Snapping Daisy began that morning and a basic layout was tossed up later that night.
Devyn obtained permission from Meteor Games legal team to use the Beastiary name of the Snapping Daisy. Some people may wonder/question why we choose to name our website The Snapping Daisy. 
The answer is simple, Devyn seen the image and convinced Owen to follow the plan. Nothing too scientific, sweet and simple.
However unlike the Snapping Daisy we plan on being a fierce competitor towards other fansites. It's healthy competition and can only help all fansites grow into amazing resource centers.
We have many amazing this planned for The Snapping Daisy and are glad that you have decided to join us for this journey in the making.
